No other GM, GA, or Support staff will ever ask for your password, email, or personal details. If anyone else claims to be a GM and asks for your information, please report them immediately on Discord.
Getting Started: Starter Items
Welcome to IronSRO-R! To help you begin your journey, every new character receives a comprehensive starter pack. This ensures you can level up smoothly and enjoy the game right away.
Below you can see the contents of the inventory upon creating a new character:
Tip: Don't forget to use your XP boosters and grab your free Grab Pet from the inventory!
Connection Limits (IP Limit)
To ensure a fair economy and server stability, we have implemented connection restrictions.
You can open up to 3 clients simultaneously. This allows you to have a main character and two buffers or traders. Attempts to bypass this limit may result in a temporary ban.
Botting & Automation
We understand that grinding is a core part of Silkroad Online. At IronSRO-R, the use of external bots is allowed.
Please note: We do not provide official support for third-party software. Use them at your own discretion.
PHBot
Fully CompatiblePHBot is highly recommended for our server. It works perfectly with our client files (v1.231). It supports auto-questing, dungeon runs, and complex script execution.
Status: Working 100%
RSBot
Limited LocalizationRSBot is also compatible and allowed. However, please be aware of a known display issue:
- Some skill names or map zones may not appear in English within the bot interface.
- This is not a server error, but a limitation of the bot's translation files.
- We are not the developers of RSBot and cannot fix their localization issues.
In-Game Auto Bot (Macro)
If you do not wish to use third-party software, our client comes with a built-in Auto Hunt / Macro System. This is perfect for basic grinding, auto-targeting, and skill usage.
To activate it, simply press the "Bot" icon near the minimap or use the hotkey command.
The internal macro is safe, free, and integrated directly into the game. It is less complex than PHBot but sufficient for overnight leveling.
Additional Installation Tips
- Antivirus: Some antivirus software might flag the
sro_client.exeas a false positive due to the custom protection packing. Please add the game folder to your exclusion list. - Run as Administrator: Always run the game launcher as Administrator to ensure updates are applied correctly.
- Dep Check: If the game crashes upon launch, check your Windows DEP (Data Execution Prevention) settings.
